    Methods of Encapsulation

    Modified Raw Method
The raw method of encapsulation involves placing raw placenta directly into the dehydrator without any steaming. It yields the highest number of capsules and likely retains the highest level of potency and iron. This method is still dehydrated at 160 degrees F and is not dehydrated according to the Raw Foods Method.

    Steamed Method
The steamed method of encapsulation involves gently steaming the placenta before being placed into the dehydrator. This method yields the least number of capsules, but offers added protection against bacteria because of the high heat used.
